Peter K. Wehrli
Landis & Gyr Stiftung Residency
Peter K. Wehrli is a Swiss writer and filmmaker. Peter was a member of the famous Olten Group: a group of left-wing writers who would meet at Olten’s ‘Bahnhofbuffet’ in Solothurn. In 2003 he joined the Association of Authors of Switzerland.
Peter captures experiences from his extensive travels in short-form prose. For the past forty years he has been working on an on-going project – a catalogue of everything – in which he tries to describe individual observations in a precise sentence. From 1975 this work was published in single deliveries with a ring binder, in 1999 in a first comprehensive book edition; with the latest version published in 2008 by Ammann Verlag in Zurich. Many of his texts have also appeared in magazines and anthologies.
Landis & Gyr Stiftung, Switzerland

Its London-based residency partnership with Acme was established in 1987, and provides six month long work/live opportunities for ten Swiss artists per year. Artists are selected for the programme directly by Landis & Gyr Stiftung and must demonstrate a track record of achievement in their field. Over two hundred visual artists, curators, writers, musicians and composers have benefitted from the programme. Residencies are based in Stepney, E1 and are available to Swiss residents only
